Bob Has a Problem
Blow Out is a quick browser game with a goofy cartoon feel and a surprisingly stressful job. Bob finds himself next to a bomb with a huge burning fuse, and his only way out is to keep blowing out the flame before it reaches the end.
Hold, Watch, Release
Everything revolves around the B key. Hold it down, and Bob takes a huge breath while an indicator moves across a timing meter. The trick is to release the key when the indicator reaches the green section. Get it right, and Bob blows out the spark, giving himself more time. Let go too soon or too late, and the fuse keeps burning.
The Fuse Gets Meaner
At first, the timing is manageable, but the meter starts moving faster as the score climbs. That leaves less room for hesitation. Instead of constantly tapping the key, it is better to settle into a steady hold-and-release rhythm and learn when to let go.
Keep Bob Alive
The burning fuse is the only countdown that matters. Every successful breath pushes the danger back, while a missed attempt wastes valuable time. R lets you restart quickly, with F4 available for fullscreen and Esc for exiting on the Windows version. It is a tiny game with one main mechanic, but the shrinking reaction window can make every breath feel like the last one.
