Block Blast is played on an 8×8 board where every move counts. At the start of each turn, three block shapes appear. They are all different in size and color. Drag a shape onto the grid and place it wherever it fits. Once a piece is set down, it cannot be moved again, so choosing the right spot matters.
Points are given for placing blocks, but clearing lines is where the score really grows. When you complete a full row or a full column, the blocks disappear and free space on the board. If two or more lines clear at the same time, the reward is higher, and the board opens up quickly.
It is easy to run out of space if the board fills too quickly. Leaving room for larger shapes is important, especially near the center of the grid. Many players try to set up the board so that several lines can clear close together instead of taking small clears whenever they appear. The game ends when none of the three shapes can fit anywhere on the board. Keeping space open and clearing lines regularly helps extend the run and push the score higher.
